Speech & Performance Coaching:
Professional, Personal, Students

Josh Hamzehee focuses on quality, creativity, advocacy, and personal connection to make sure researching, writing, and performance skills last well beyond the stage, the office, or the classroom.

“The basic idea of performance speech is relatively simple: You want something; You get it, or you don’t. The hard part is showing an audience you care about how that happens, and what that means for them.”

Over the past 15 years Josh has coached working adults to reaching their performance goals, and collegiate and high school performers to national final rounds and success in interpretation and oratory events. As Director of Santa Rosa Junior College’s Forensics Speech, Debate, and Performance Team, and recently serving as Co-Director of Individual Events for the consistently top-10 in-the-nation University of Northern Iowa speech team, Josh was honored as the American Forensics Association’s Outstanding Coach of the Year, and has two decades of performance experience. In addition, Josh has been Interpretation Curriculum Coordinator at one of the country’s largest summer interpretation camps and worked for championship teams and speech camps all over the United States.

Josh comes from a diverse performance and forensics background that informs his relatable coaching style. He exclaims, “I love performance and speech because there’s a place for everyone, you just need to find your strengths! As a coach I love to help people learn how to invest in themselves in order to invest in those around them.”
